Vickie Lonker is a tenured executive with over 30 years of experience in the technology and communications industry. She started her career as a practicing engineer and went on to lead such diverse business functions as sales, marketing, and finance. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Product Management for Verizon, responsible for delivering and managing $32B worth of global products at this Fortune 15 company. She has a proven track record of solving customer problems and achieving ambitious targets through technology innovation and transformation.
Among Vickie’s many professional accomplishments, she proposed, designed, and helped build the first multi-state, multi-telco video distance learning networks in the United States. She also negotiated multiple complex IT outsourcing deals valued at >$100M each and charted a path for software-defined networking in the telecommunications industry.
Prior to Verizon, Vickie spent time at GTE, Bell Atlantic, and C&P Telephone Company of Virginia. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Engineering Administration from Virginia Tech.
